That press conference is almost exactly the opposite of what Moyes's would have been like in that situation:


Moyes version:
"We'll, he's let himself down, he's let me down and more importantly he's let the club down. You cannot bite another player. That has no place on a football pitch as it doesn't on the street.

We will accept the ban and he'll have plenty of time to figure out what it is he's done wrong.

We'll offer him any support he needs to control his temper, but let me tell you this, he won't be doing anything like that again, that's for sure"

Regarding the way Anfield FC have handled this, it recalls a quote from Albert Einstein:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

That's the most important attribute of a Liverpool manager these days. Back in the days of Shankley and Paisley, you need football acumen to be a sucessful Liverpool manager. Now you just need to tell the extreme part of the fan base what they want to hear and you're golden

Pathetic really. Not having a go at Rodgers though. He's doing what he has to survive

I think he may have an inkling, he's been all over the media for what he's done since last Sunday.

If Rodgers managed one of the Old Firm, Glasgow would be obliterated by civil war within weeks and Mad Max and the road warriors would be roaming around.
 
I often feel Brenda's talent's are wasted in football, he should become a politician, He bull****s more than our last 5 pm's combined
