ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

As I argued at the time and provided proof for it, his studs up challenge on Pickford could have ended the GK's career and he should have been red carded - stretchered off or not.

The still image is damning:

Completely correct. He came in from an offside position with his foot up on the keeper. After a string of thuggish assaults on James and DCL.

Zero sympathy for him.

He was going over the top of that ball and into Pickford's ankle before Pickford took evasive action.

I'll always maintain Van Dijk should have been handed a red card.

Their gameplan literally consisted of their fullbacks knocking it down the channels to Salah & Diaz. They were doing it all game. It's quite clear that without the likes of Fabihno in the middle they look to just completely bypass the midfield as often as possible. Henderson was hooked because he offered nothing.
hoofing it down the channels has been their gameplan for about 5 years now

Opposing teams and managers have completely sussed out the RS tactics now. Klopp has no plan B whatsoever. He is being exposed as a fraud. He is also ridiculously loyal to players and continues playing his favourites when they are clearly in decline (see Henderson, Milner, Van Dijk, Firmino). Compare Klopp to the likes of Pep, Arteta and Conte. They are all ruthless with getting rid of players who don't fit their systems, are simply not good enough, or are in decline.

Klopp's plan B is, Nunez down the middle and cross, cross, cross, as per usual in the hope that the big fella will get his head on the ball.
I take it that he's just getting a 3 game ban.

Despite the fact that it was extreme violent conduct after he had already tried a slap and a headbutt.

Players of most other clubs would be getting a 5 match ban for that.

I thought he got no game ban as clearly he the innocent party in this. Anderson should of moved out the way And for not moving should be banned for the season

These idiots have sincerely believed their own hype for so long that it absolutely floors them when others don't buy into it. They think they can pull the stupidest stunts imaginable and it'll impress people. Just look back to that laughable show they put on in the derby at Anfield a few years back when they wheeled out Van Dijk to sit in the stands to supposedly watch the game while looking like Davros (they even had a whole plan worked out about how they would run to their fallen hero after scoring) all in the sincerely held belief that this plan would "intimidate" a team of grown adults! I mean WTF!

Its just so nauseatingly cringe that any other fanbase would be angry at their manager and team for even suggesting it. Not them though. Logic and reason has no place at Anfiled. They're an embarrassment, an honest to God embarrassment and everyone has finally woken up to it and won't go along with their nonsense anymore.
