ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Their sell to buy model is struggling. Wijnaldum gone on a free, Mane left cheap due to his contract, Origi on a free.

They have had to break their wage structure for Salah to stop him leaving cheaply and Keita, Firmino plus AOC all out of contract next summer and will probably walk away free. Previously they would have got about £60/70m for those fringe players
That's what happens when you big your players up way beyond their true value , the players start to believe they should be the highest paid, cant wait for them to 10 players on 400000 a week.

He was like a child getting told off by his mother. He just stood there head down and took it. He's been lauded for beening this big leader of the club and he's had his pants pulled down and his arse smacked by James Milner on live tv.
Spot on mate.

It was a proper dressing down and made VVD look like an academy player getting a right telling off.

How he took it and didn't tell Milner to GETF would be a worry for me if that were two Everton players. It shows he has no pride and any opposition player will be looking at that and thinking what a soft touch he is.

I always thought VVD was a gutless wonder and last night underlined it.

His form has certainly dropped towards the end of last season/start of this. You can see that team is coming to an end and needs a rebuild, I bet they regret letting that Edwards chap go (the recruitment guy)
I have to laugh at the feller being anywhere near these lists the sychophants do for 'Best FB in PL History'. He should be nowhere near that list. He isn't a defender and has no instincts for it.
