ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This is doing the what’s app rounds

The forged tickets used last night are connected to the house that was raided on Thursday in Winsford, Cheshire.

On the radio this morning media professionals are condemning "heavy handed policing", "bad security" and "aggression towards Liverpool fans". They are complaining Liverpool fans with genuine tickets - including hospitality tickets from LFC - were turned away

There are calls from LFC and Nadine Dorries for an independent investigation rather than the "UEFA/French police cover-up".

In other words they are once again victims and it's everyone elses fault.

Firstly remember Nadine Dorries was born in Anfield.

Now read this...

When people stormed in they had to stop others with genuine tickets from entering to make sure the stadium didn't overload capacity.

If too many fans were in the stadium they wouldn't have been able to evacuate everyone in case of fire.

If they had let everyone with genuine tickets in they would have overloaded the end. If there had been a fire hundreds of Liverpool fans could have died. The French police would have come under scrutiny for allowing too many people into the stadium.

We have had 33 years of criticism of the South Yorkshire police for allowing too many people into the stadium which contributed to the deaths.

Now a police force and stadium officials have for once taken their responsibility seriously.

Given the result at Hillsborough you would have thought Liverpool and their fans would be applauding the French police.

You can't have it both ways. Either it's okay to overload a Liverpool section of a stadium or it isn't.

When there was a crush outside Hillsborough the police allivated the pressure by opening a gate. Last night when there was a crush the French police used peppar spray to immediately disperse the crowd potentially saving many lives.

Poor and indecisive policing was blamed for Heysel and Hillsborough. You really don't get to criticise a proactive quick thinking police force who were doing their jobs and saving lives. And especially not Liverpool after their involvement in Heysel and Hillsborough. If the Belgian police had peppar sprayed the advancing Liverpool fans in 85 nobody would have died. If the South Yorkshire police had peppar sprayed the fans outside Hillsborough instead of opening the gate nobody would have died.

There really is a simple solution.

Don't turn up at a game without a ticket.

I remember the early 70s. Liverpool fans used to take the tube to Parsons Green. Then they would arrive at Fulham Broadway on the other platform which backs onto the away end. Then they would run up the railway embankment and climb into the ground without paying. They were the only fans who did this. This behaviour seems to be something deep rooted in their culture.

As for the LFC and Nadine Dorries enquiry.... start here...

They were caught on video...

I tell you what Nadine, you can have your enquiry, when we have an enquiry into the rule breaking at Westminster by you and your colleagues, and why you have lied and defended an actual law breaker (the PM) not officers in another country trying to do their job.

Imagine being a Kopite and siding yourself with this blert. Absolutely no shame whatsoever. Shove your enquiry Dorries.

I said not a lot wrong.

I think that might be the actual team trying to sneak back in after a crafty pre-match pint. Football was different back in black and white.

I mean, very different times, different attitudes, different attitudes to safety and a very different culture then. One where most game you could walk up to the ground and gain entry.

It's still wrong of course, but events from 35 years ago dont tell us much about an event today.

Bunking in, and fake tickets are not just wrong, but in a situation of an all ticketed event, at a stadium that had suffered a terrorist attack, they are going to massively slow down the speed with which authorities can do security checks. This in turn is going to mean people are left cuing for longer and cause the area to cue to become increasingly overcrowded.

I'd also add, no Everton fan would deny, on the evidence of that picture fans were bunking in. Our media outlets, seem to be seeing clearer evidence than that, and still denying it happened. That's astonishing. We can all see the videos.

We know who did, and he was referring to pitch invasions - which is daft from him because he's a massive ted.

But why should a father or mother or uncle or aunt not be able to take a child to a football match?

Get a grip mate come on.
Only pointing out the hypocracy of Klopp.

He actively encouraged a horde to be there in Paris even if they did not have legitimate tickets. He helped make it unsafe.

If you can’t win the football, make sure you win the propaganda after it. Classic RS, get angry and aggressive as soon as your cult is called into question.
You can tell by his demeanour and his voice that he's rattled. To be fair, the RS were better in the first half, but they didn't convert their chances.

Madrid played them in the second half as they knew how to get behind them. If they were magnanimous, maybe people would be more forgiving.

It’s still the 80’s were that divvy lives lad

This is an important watch for obvious reasons . But also have a look at around 4:53 and you’ll see why I’ve put it in this thread .

Ian Byrne should of also stick to this what he’s an actual MP for and not use his position of power for his football team and absolve the criminal element in that support of any wrongdoing in the process
