I work near Nation , maybe 10 minute walk , and started calm yesterday morning but by 4 , all local french were complaining about redshite fans and you could sense there was something building up ? Even on way home before 8, redshite fans at Chatelet and main metro line trying to get to stadium ?

This is the thing and needs to be focused on by everyone...they've got no BS comeback for it that's even 1% plausible.

Ban them, it's clear crystal they have a problem.

So our media is blaming French youths. I've seen plenty of videos showing people wearing Liverpool kits, rushing turnstiles, climbing barriers etc.

Can someone just clarify for me, is it mutually exclusive that you are either a French youth or a Liverpool fan, or could you be both?

It's pretty amazing that the local French youths only chose the Liverpool end to get in and cause chaos. Surely the quiet Real Madrid end was an ideal opportunity, especially since it was trouble free and congestion free. But no, they obviously took the tricky route and joined the massed ranks of excess Liverpool fans, as you do.. choose the bottleneck.

Unless the whole thing is one big story.

My youngest daughters boyfriend (21 years old, Nottingham born, no family connections) tells me the gates were locked because Real Madrid fans stormed the entrance. Quite why they’d storm the RS end I’m not so sure. I keep sending him the evidence which proves otherwise. He did concede the Benzema goal should have stood though.
