ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They dont put the same tackles in for international matches, they know the referees have their backs, they are constantly fouling from behind and nothing given, fabinho was booked because it could of been a red for the elbow not for a foul that the commentary suggested, imagine if that was a liverpool player on the end of that.
It’s up to the other teams in the PL to complain and put a vote of no confidence towards Mr Riley and his boys at Stockley Park. Nothing will happen if they don’t and the bias towards the rs will continue and will get worse.

It's not even just the RS. Look at that hand ball against City we never got. It was the most blatant thing in the world and they just glossed over it. We're in a relegation battle, 1 point might mean us staying up or crashing away as a club. Or against United when {he who cannot be named} was supposedly blocking deGea's view of the ball but nowhere near it.

The government have recommended an independent inquiry into the premier league, their response was the premier league welcome any inquiry but it's not necessary and they will not allow any investigation for a number of years, translated we are bent as fk.

Lampard called it out blatantly and was smacked with a fine immediately. It’s a complete protection racket. If anything the officiating towards us has got worse since the club complained. The powers that he are not interested in a level playing field, they just want the illusion of competition between a few teams with all outcomes controlled as much as possible by them. Probably hacks them off that City are equally as good as doping as their beloved reds and have some better players.

It used to be that the excuse for bad officiating was just that they were incompetent, hence pretending the referee had missed Terry saving the ball with his hands on the line, or Mendes’ shot agaisnt United almost being in the net before it was cleared about a foot behind the line, or Gerrard getting penalties for an ‘intent’ to tackle even though there was no contact.

With VAR though it’s just proven that was always a lie and now they just use it to influence whatever outcome they want. Blatant replay of a handball for an Everton penalty? Just ignore it. Nailed on yellow card tackle for Allan, just give a red instead. Mane forearm smash, just ignore that too. It’s so blatant it’s ridiculous. Most corrupt sport in the world.

Says a lot when the government is looking like a less corrupt body to administer football than the current ones, we’re in a bad place if an independent government regulator is the answer, Christ.

Yes there’s a few teams that benefit from the refs bias but none more than one team. It’s just became a joke now that some of their players should have been booked least 3 times in one match, never mind the endless fouls that go unpunished.

They’ve got what they want, a relegation battle going to the last day, a top 4 race going to the last day, and a title race going to the last day.

With correct refereeing only one of these would probably be close which would be the top 4 race. City would have won the league in March, and Burnley or Leeds would be a good 7 or 8 points behind us now.

Not good for the post covid accounts relying on tv money is it though. So instead they’ve shafted us to keep us down in the mud (even though we’ve been rubbish enough ourselves) and they’ve airlifted Liverpool into a title challenge that was never on.

Honestly dont get how these glory hunter fans can feel any hatred towards a "local" rival. Same with the Irish lads really.

If I grew up deciding to support Arsenal under Wenger or Real Madrid I couldn't feel any genuine animosity towards Spurs or Atletico fans when im from Liverpool.

Its all manufactured for social media of "look how boss a fan I am".

I can't say I ever really disliked Ferguson. He dragged that entire club up to his standards almost single-handed. The amount of help and support he gave to younger managers goes unremarked often too. Fair enough he was a narky arl arse when things didn't go his way.
Plus he admitted when they were outplayed and didn't belittle or disrespect other clubs. Klopp is a divvy, who has an unnecessary nasty side, that comes out all the time, he can't help revealing it. Unlike managers like Mouriniho, Conte, SAF, Paisley, Simione, Lennon and certain other managers, he's not simply passionate like a lot of Latin American managers or grumpy like a lot of British and French managers, he's just unpleasant. There's something weird and creepy about him, for all Benitezs faults I always viewed him as a decent enough guy. Klopp looks like one of those American pastors, who preaches in mega churches and it's later found out he's been involved in having sex with young girls and boys. The fact the RS hang on everything he says is chilling, they are like a cult.
