ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They were absolutely desperate for that stabbing to be true
Proper though. Seen a blue bring up them throwing bricks, of course they turned it around chatting Hillsborough.

Biggest gaslighting beauts going, how are they from the same city as us I'll never know. I've got so many red mates/families, but they're nothing like these idiots. And before the obligatory 'Out of Towners' comes out. It's their scouse ones that are the worst. Don't get it me.

I know we're all hoping they desperately have a terrible season, but I just can't believe some of the guff on here. I'm American, so maybe I'm looking at this dispassionately as a Toffee abroad who doesn't live in the city, but come on. You can't seriously think they're on PEDs or that their entire club is going to collapse? Wishful thinking, I think.

We've done some sensible business this year bringing in Gray and good backup for Pickford, but just because they've only bought Konate it doesn't mean they're not going to strengthen. Their squad - much as it pains me - is still very good. They did finish 3rd, despite going on that awful run. I don't buy into this stuff about how they 'struggled' past Mainz or that team the other day. It's pre-season, that kinda thing happens. Do we really think we're going to breeze past whoever we end up playing in Florida? No, it'll be a slog. Because players are coming back to fitness.

And as for them not selling their prospects. Well no, they're not getting insane amounts like they were at one point, but they're doing OK in a COVID depressed market. Much better than we are, which is annoying because we should be doing better on that front. We have a good academy and apparently good people running it, yet we're unable to make these kind of profits on players.

How's that Bullens Road season ticket going??

This is from my years watching Bundesliga, but there's about as much chance of Kenny Dalglish managing us as Herr Klopp managing Bayern. He grew up in the Black Forest as a VfB Stuttgart fan, who have a major, major rivalry with Bayern and they absolutely detest them. Even if that wasn't the case, he was manager of their greatest rivals and is seen as a hero at BVB. I think he actually turned them down at one point, I seem to recall. Maybe after he left Dortmund or Mainz, I can't remember. I was living in Germany at the time and Bayern fans really wanted him but he's never shown any interest.

Like him or loathe him (I'm in the latter category) I don't see him as a mercenary. He does seem to fall in love with the clubs he manages. We'd love that from one of our managers. Haven't had it since Moyes.

Massive Evertonian me, hate the rs, but let me tell you the back story to Klopp

I wouldn't want him as manager, but I wish we could find someone who has the same effect on us that Herr Shipman has had on them. Someone who actually feels a connection to the club and gets players running through brick walls for them. Alas, I don't think we've had that since Moyesy left us. That was the last team that actually made you feel proud to be a Blue.

And yeah, it's a Mickey Mouse cup but I'd love us to win it. Just to get the golem off our back. A cup is the least we deserve.

I hate Klopp me, but I wish we had Herr Shipman managing us. If only Moysey was managing us, maybe with Wazza as assistant manager and maybe we could get Hendo as our captain.

Don't worry mate, mod central will be banning the meffs left right and centre. The piss soaked bellends can't last an evening without dropping their Klopp masks
Scary bunch of mutants - I think you said it earlier, I’ve no issue if rs come on and act like normal footy fans, and could admit they got away with a few things today.

It’s the never a pen/Gordon’s a cheat/no fouls by mane/no fan of klopp but he’s boss isn’t he blah blah blah bullshine shouts that do my head in.

They can’t even win any game with class, worst winners in world footy.

“Imagine being us” - Christ no thanks, you’re grand.

'The Unbearables'

But are so desperate to be everyone's 2nd team. Weird, insecure mutants.

I like the fact the Kopites are moaning about Pickford holding onto the ball all the time.
As usual the Kopites have short memories. The back pass rule had to be changed years back because all they did was kick it back to their keeper all game when in front. Which he would then pick up, hold it and roll it to the defender and then pick it up again.

No coincidence it took them 30 years to win another title after that rule was changed.

Bollocks.

My god, why are you lot so desperate to be liked?

With the VAR and the dodgy refereeing decisions, football is like the wrestling now. The winners and losers are already predetermined.

That's why i will always rate Manchester United in the Sir Alex Ferguson years, the great Arsenal teams under Arsene Wenger, and Jose Mourinhos Chelsea side of the mid noughties, as better than the current rs side.

Those teams won their trophies without the help of VAR, and the league was stronger when those teams were in their pomp.
