I can’t be bothered with the doom and gloom over on the other forum so prefer to come here for a little light hearted relief. We know your a RS, because unlike your lot, we can respect other teams and ate actual football fans, not like your fans who only watch the RS and only when your doing well. So come on genius you explain why players like Rooney, Ageuro, Tevez, Bergkamp, Drogba, Neymar and Lukaku were all viewed as great players from a young age. Yet Salah, Firmino and Mane were ignored, yet go only to be viewed as the best front 3 in the country. You don't have the squad that the great Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United and City sides did. United in the past had VDS in goal, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand and Neville in defence. In midfield they had Ronaldo, Giggs, Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, PJS, and Fletcher in midfield. Rooney, Tevez , Berbatov and Welbeck up front and I'm still missing players who went on to be pretty decent. Other than your front 3 and VVD, what do you have. The greatest danger from your bench are the filthy rats who spit on people. All the great aides of recent years Guardiolas Bayern and Barca sides, Mourinhos Chelsea sides and Wengers Arsenal sides have had strength in depth. How have you done so well with a team of average players, Cech was better than Allison, Chelsea and United had far better defences when they won titles than you did when you won yours. Would you compare Henderson to a Viera or Scholes. Is Fabiniho better than an Essien an Alonso a Xavi of course not. You had a better team under Benitez, Alonso, Gerrard and Macherano were all world class midfielders, Torres was quality up until his hamstring injury. If you'd had quality defenders like United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea you would of won the league under Bentiez.

The irony in your opening gambit is a joy to behold ?. The rest of it is laughable though. Did you know some players mature later than others? Some are destined for greatness from an early age, some go by the wayside, some go on to great things. Tevez came via West Ham with Mascherano. Some mature later, rising through the Leagues like Wright & Vardy, some don’t quite fulfil the early potential until they get the right move, Henry, Coutinho, Vieira, Petit. By your rule of thumb, how did Wenger get Vieira, Petit Anelka & Henry etc for not much outlay & without the massive Spanish clubs being after them? We’re they on PEDS too ? Your whole argument is flawed. Quite pathetic really. But you respect other teams..

I clearly stated that there have been players like Vardy, Larsson and Ian Wright who developed later on. They didn't all do it at the same time in the same team did they. Midfielders and defenders can develop later on, because a their skill comes from being able to read the game, they can be taught these things by managers. That's why it took a while for players like Gerrard, Alonso, Lampard, Viera, Essien and Pirlo to develop. Ferdinand, Terry, Vidic, Kompany, Boateng and Pique all took a while to reach their prime. Strikers have a natural instinct, that's why Rooney, Drogba, Lukaku and Ageuro are picked up at a young age. Lukakus form fits within the norms of football, played well for us as soon as he got the chance of regular football. His first touch and ability improved while at Inter, which was the result of decent management, plus he lost weight, that's with his form improved, his natural instinct didn't change. Eto when he was at Everton still had the class, he'd shown in the past, it's what all world class strikers have. Your front 3 just run about like headless chickens, Mane constantly loses the ball and runs into people, just like Salah most of his goals come from the ball being played over the top. This is why Alladyce was able to get a draw at Anfield because if you sit back your team are useless. It's why Chelsea were able to get a draw at your place, while being down to ten men. It's why you lost the league in 2019, because when you can't get in behind defences your useless. Marco Silva ensured that your front 3 couldn't get in behind, by ensuring Digne and Coleman didn't go too far forward. It's why Red Star were able to beat you a few years ago, because the manager said that Red Star would commit players up front and try to score from set pieces, they won Pavkov a player who still works for his dad part time scoring 2 goals that night. Your team play Sunday League football, where hoofs from the back are run on to by your front 3. Also explain why all the players who have left you under Klopp have faded into mediocrity. All great managers have sold players who turn out to be great elsewhere, yet at Klopps Liverpool that isn't the case. All your highly thought of younger players have been less than useless with fans of those clubs wondering what the manager saw in them. I am absolutely disgusted with Russias war crimes being committed against Ukraine, and i fully agree with the sanctions being imposed on that country. But i have something to get off my chest here.

With our links to Usmanov, we've been subjected to a lot of sanctimonious lectures from kopites, about how we should be ashamed and all that.

Well their club is owned by Americans, and that's a country that's committed plenty of war crimes in places like the middle east etc. So really rs fans are in no position to adopt a moral high ground here imo.
