The entire competition is set up for them to win it every season except most times they’ve been so crap they’ve not managed it but it’s there on a plate for them every season if they want it with these refs.

You’ve missed the point. How the hell do Liverpool with their one league title have more penalties than United who have 13, or Arsenal?

The answer is that they have most of the refs in their pocket.

You’ve been a mid table side for most of the premier league, and have had a succession of defensive managers who play on the counter.

Yet you’ve had more pens than the teams who have won it more often with attacking football and had far more possession.
