The whole rivalry between them didn't exist until the Ferguson told the press he wanted to "knock them off their F'n perch" Even then they weren't really rivals on the pitch because at the time the rags had no peers in England. We aren't their rivals but 90% of the rag songbook is about city. When we were in the third tier they were winning trebles, but they still had banners up mocking our lack of success. Strange thing to do for a club that means nothing to you.
Now the rags and the asthmatics are in each others pockets, scheming and plotting together, as thick as thieves.
They're not rivals, they are just different cheeks on the same rancid backside.
Liverpool/Utd rivalry is about as real as Klopps teeth.

Tend to dissagree mate. I started watching Everton in the 70s and there was rivalry between us, the rs and the two Manchester clubs. Fergies comments and the media made it bigger than it was esp at the start of the prem with all the coverage.

So ive had a look and bit strange how people are scrutinising him and his body. But looks like it is him.

4th highest in the world I believe and a higher wage bill than City.

Taking all that into account, Klopp’s doing alright but 2 trophies in 7 years, with the self proclaimed best team in the clubs history, it’s not particularly great.

All banter aside Klopp has done well at Liverpool, they were in a bit of a low ebb when he took them over. Hes fitted the structure well. But christ some of the stuff about him being massive underdog is nauseating. It is 2 trophies in 7 years, which for a club like Liverpool, and a club that spends the 4th most on wages in world football is not that flash.

That's why top teams havent looked at him so much. It would be harsh to say hes under achieved there, but given the resources hes had at his disposal it's also not the miracle job people make it out to be.
