I don't really blame LFC, it was up to the Government to show leadership. Still seems surreal but at the time it was a real threat which could have been avoided.

The rs failed their customers. They put them, the people of the city and all those involved in the international travel at risk by exposing them deliberately to fans from Madrid which was rife with covid. All to gain an advantage and a pay day.

Another shame laden action by them. A disgrace to the city's name.

As said above, we voluntarily set an example and called our game off, ourselves, without anyone telling us to do so, not caring for the consequences, as it was the right thing to do.

I know what you are saying and why, but didn't we have some positive cases at Finch Farm? I suppose they could have called it off but I think the herd immunity approach of your namesake was a key factor in people not taking the problem as seriously as they should.

Did we actually call it off? I seem to remember the announcement that the squad were self isolating which put the derby on the Monday into doubt, then the PL suspended all games soon after.
I suppose the entire squad self isolating makes playing a game tricky, but I don't think we actually cancelled the game did we?
