The frustration was with Betts who was the star player in a rebuilding Redsox team.
Mookie Betts already said he wanted to test free agency, the money he was asking for absurd to stay, but the Dodgers who are the richest team in America gave him a 12 year $365 million contract, they paid over by a $100 million, Dodgers will be paying Betts $35 million a year from 34-39 years old when he is well past his best, he's having a poor season right now in the 1st year of the contract.
It's why the Redsox are reknowned as the best run in the sport, only team who win and rebuild and win in quick succession, 5 championships.
Fa Cups are Arsenals level under Kreonke, always be the case, FSG go for the bigger trophies and contend for them more, they are not bothered with winning division titles (that get play off spots) and Fa Cups and caraboa cups it's why they play a weakened teams in it, Kreoke hasn't qualified for the Top 4, hasn't got to a CL final, hasn't had arsenal in a title race never mind win the big prizes, he hasn't won a championship with 5 teams he owns since FSG got into the sports business.
Kreonke aims small because he doesn't care, you want to talk about frustration at ownership, ask Arsenal, Nugget, Rapid, Rams and Avalanche fans about their owner. lol
Ok. Again I think there is a lot of hyperbole here, where you seem to be trying to justify a rather a take that's lacks nuance (namely that Kroenke is the worst owners in football). I'm afraid that just seems a frankly ludicrous assertion.
The Red Sox last season has their worst performance in over 50 years (and they had some very lean times pre FSG's arrival). They have won 5 titles in 103 years. On what planet is that the "best run" franchise in the whole of sport? They are not even the best run sports Franchise in the FSG stable, Liverpool have been massively more successful than that. For some context- within baseball, in the time it has taken the Red Sox to win the last 5 titles you reference, the Yankees have won in it on 27 occasions. They are not the most successful in baseball, and not even close to being the most successful in baseball. For someone who is clearly intelligent, you seem to get pre-occupied with these hyperbolic statements that are just not supported with any evidence.
The FA Cup cannot be reduced to a divisional competition. It is the oldest and most loved knock out competition in football. I will just repeat, no proper football supporter I have met (I.e one who attends games) sees the FA Cup as akin to a divisional context. Indeed for many I know it is still regarded as the ultimate (albeit they are for fans of a certain age). Indeed, go and ask any Liverpool fan, or match going fan, if they preferred knocking us out of the FA Cup and winning the League Cup, over finishing in the top 4 and winning nothing. Pretty much every single red I know felt Dalglish did a good job, and were delighted to win a trophy.
Kroenke and Arsenal have won the trophy on 4 occasions. FSG at Liverpool have won 2 major trophies. He has won more trophies than they have. Of course it's a bit of a crass metric, but it's all the more reason why your assertion that Kroenke isn't interested in winning trophies, but FSG are is just inaccurate.
FSG clearly prioritise qualifying for the CL over winning trophies. There's an interesting discussion about the rights and wrongs of this. There is also a discussion to be had about Kroenke. Lots of Arsenal fans don't like him. Lots of Liverpool fans don't like FSG. What is not an interesting discussion though is some of the ridiculous quips you have made, that frankly don't stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever. I remain baffled how you can square how owner A who has 2 trophies, care about winning trophies, but owner B who has won 4 trophies doesn't. If I were you I'd just stop digging at this point, and accept it was a bit of a foolish thing to say, and we can all move forward.
