I dont think they are though. 90%+ of my posts are not on this page at all. I probably wrote more about politics than on here. But it's a forum about football and it's interesting to discuss different teams. I wouldn't confuse that for it meaning anything though, it means very little. Lots of people get really riled if they buy/sell a player. Most of the time I'm something of a calming influence, as it just doesnt bother me that much.
I'm not sure what the comment about Brentford means? I prioritise things I have direct control over and directly affect me. I had a cousin who died recently so helping to organise a funeral. For another relative who's had a stroke. These are the things that are importance. Everton is a relief from these things, win lose or draw. I'm not sure why people continue to do things that make them angry or frustrated.
Fair play for wanting Chelsea to win. It would be a bit odd for someone who wanted them to win to them be angry they won a few weeks later, which seems to be some reds. I cant understand that.
As for the southern/northern thing that's probably true. How does cheering for Chelsea over City fall into that though haha!?
But yes, it's different down this end. My two best mates arent into football. My partner doesnt like football. Her friends dont like football. You just dont get sucked along with it in the same way.
I'm not sure that being from the city gives you a consciousness that you prefer northern to southern teams. My entire family, on both sides all live in the city, my parents lived in the city until their late 20s and I can only think of 1 great uncle who prefers northern to southern teams. For most of them it's the opposite!
