I did actually have to explain this term to my 21 year old daughter recently (TBF she has Asperger/autism - is that an excuse?) She genuinely thought it was referring to Chelsea as rich landlord types.

I think sometimes maybe education can be the first call when encountering racism or homophobia especially in younger generations. Certainly not saying those fans didn’t know the context they were singing it in though.

I agree. They are almost completely bomb-proof...unless they come up against a juggernaut like United, who pretty much steamrollered them over Negrito-gate.

Agreed the Guardian is particularly bad. Always random stories about them even when they are not playing. One on Alexander-Arnold today for example.
