ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I’ve not got much sympathy for the fans or players of those clubs to be honest. They revelled in all the trophies that their owners wealth allowed them to win, they all laughed as Klopp mocked us from the top of the parade bus, how great it all was for them spending money recklessly to keep it all going. The players also, getting paid huge amounts far more than they would have been at non top 6 clubs, getting to play in the CL every week and all the additional revenue that come with that, getting picked for England just because you played for Liverpool. The lot of them have all had their sly digs at other teams too, Milner Robertson Van Dijk are all quick to put the boot in on anyone who has cost them points in the past especially Everton.

They all loved it when the sun was shining so as far as I’m concerned they have to accept the other side of the coin of having greedy owners. Any fan fan step away when they’re ant, any player could tear up their contract....but they won’t, they’ll just moan a bit and then go straight back to defending their top 6 club against all critics.

A lot of the players are part of the problem. Massive salaries and wanting more and more. It’s become obscene with their and their agents demands.

I mean, I agree players wages are obscene, couldn’t agree more.

But certainly from an Arsenal, Liverpool and United perspective, their owners knew exactly what they were doing. Glazers have taken £1bn out of United and FSG has made £1.7bn on Liverpool, who are worth £2bn, compared to the £300m they bought them for.

This is 100% not in wages from an a english perspective.

Carragher's non sensical logic is, if klopps leaves Liverpool because of this, Liverpool fans will run the Fenway sports group out of the club....they just won't run them out of the club now for joining the super league?....

They can't run them out because FSG don't need them
they're perfectly happy with 30,000 day trippers each week who don't care about this stuff

it's hilarious they think they have any real leverage

Gary Neville reckons City might be the one to break and he can’t understand why they ever got involved in the first place.

I’d say they have the least to gain from all this.

The more I think about this, the more I wonder is this City's revenge. Walk the other 5 off a cliff before they pull out their parachute and say "so-long suckers"

They are the club in the 12 who make the least sense. They've joined all those clubs who wanted them punished over FFP.

I can definitely see them leaving the group, although I'm not convinced City are big enough to stop this from going ahead. Only teams who are big enough to stop in in their tracks by themselves are, United, Big red, Barca & Real.

Don't honestly know if Merseyside Reds are. They along with the Italian clubs are the small step below the others. And I'd include Bayern in that toppermost group and they didn't stop it by themselves did they? Maybe if Merseyside Reds had joined in with Bayern and PSG, then yes it would have made the likes of Chelsea and City wobble and halt the thing.

I guess we'll find out if any of the scab clubs back down due to conscious or not having conviction in the Euro Scab League.

Klopp reveals Leeds put the t-shirts in their dressing room and they refused to wear them.

Scabs.
I still cant get over this and why it hasn't been picked up (to my knowledge).

Klopp and his Liverpool players - who will wear at the drop of a hat any media eye catching t-shirt - REFUSED to wear those t-shirts condemning this outrage.

I suppose they feel more comfortable standing up for the rights of their racist players than they do the football family.
