ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

No idea if the Klopp resigning thing is true. However as I said hours ago, hes done there. Clear before and after today. Hes done. It's just a question of how much damage FSG let him do.
They are in for a serious rebuild once he does go, he's built a team thats 100% suited to his style of football which is constant running, running at pace and counter attacking.

They played pretty well yesterday and then through bad luck/poor decision making they imploded.
The offside could of gone either way and there should of been a foul in the build up to the Alisson/centre back incident!

I wouldnt get complacent going into next week. Its to early to say 'this team is done' or 'klopp is done'
Its exactly what people said about city early season

We've said it many times over the years to no avail and I've always tried to not make anything of it, but for once in my opinion there won't be a better time to play the RS than now, they will have no fans at Anfield and as a team they look shot, I was watching them on MOTD against Leicester and their body language was of a team deflated of confidence.

We have the chance to hammer the final nail in their coffin, let's hope we don't, as we say, Everton it.

The coffin has been nailed. We just have to turn up to the funeral. Knowing us though, there's no guarentee it happens. I'm awaiting the Thiago and Origi double in a 2-0 defeat.

They will still win games between now and the end of the season. But as a top team, this side is done. It needs major changes.

In fairness City were done, but they spent around 100m very well to rebuild the team, and started preparing for it last season.
1) Liverpool won't have the momney to do it
2) Their recruitment hasn't been as good recently
3) Klopp lacks the humility/skill to emulate what Pep has done
4) They will not want to move away from their core as City did (they phased out Laporte, Kompany, Silva, Mendy, Aguero and phased in Diaz, Cancelo, Stones, Gundogan, Foden etc). Will Liverpool be preared to move on 2 or 3 of this lot?

None of this means they can't/won't win the derby. Logic dictates we would just go there and bounce them, but there's been a few times it should have hampered and didn't. So I'm cautious on that!
