ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

There’s not many pundits that we learn anything new from now. Most of them are no better than fan tv personalities now saying whatever they know will end up in a meme or YouTube video. When did any of them last say something about the actual game that you didn’t know and wasn’t immediately apparent by watching? Three blokes in the pub could do exactly the same job which is basically what soccer Saturday used to be anyway. Perhaps the odd time they had Ruud Gullit or the BBC had Vialli on they had a different respective but most of the time it’s just either mundane obvious nonsense or hyped up fanboying.

They are all massively triggered by Roy Keane essentially just telling the truth. They are pathetic "champions" who have got way ahead of themselves and are making up weak excuses to try and excuse what has been a very poor performance level. In general, I don't even like Keane much. He's not a very good pundit and has become something of a caricature. The other week, when he dismissed us from the title race but included Leicester who had dropped as many points was ludicrous. But he has his opinion, and he won't sugarcoat it.

On Liverpool though, whether deliberately or not, he's found a useful market to "short" as it were. Their stock is artificially raised, so just bettin against it works. Remember last season when he piped Carragher down with "you nearly won the league" he was spot on again. They've had some decent teams, like many other sides, but no great teams over the last 30 years until last season. Likewise, this season has been pathetic. They have dropped 27 points on last season after 23 games.

To give some context, David Moyes's pitiful surrender of Manchester United's title defence saw him drop 25 points across an entire season (and I'm pretty sure about 6 of them points came in the final few games where that joke Ryan Giggs took charge). Moyes was down about 20 points across the season. Pathetic, poor, and enough to stain a mans reputation. Klopp is already way beyond that mark. It's been really really poor, and given the attitude of Klopp shows no signs of turning around.

I hanker for a day where we get more serious, thoughtful and honest commentary and discussion. The banter act between Neville, Carragher and to a degree Richards is poor. The "fan media" is increasingly now just blokes having a tantrum on a camera. Roy Keane isn't a solution to any of this, but he will often point out the obvious and not sugarcoat it with the myriad of expectations that exist within football of what or can't be said.

The Everton Thread isn’t popular on RAWK anymore now that we’re breathing down their necks.
Wait until we overtake them and they find out our lot are using illegal performance enhancing products such as warm socks, short grass, removing snow from the ground AND using the weather forecast to see if there is a chance of wind.

It'll be moider!

Haha whats the chat? I can imagine RAWK is quite a dark and dangerous place at the moment.
Well they have all turned on Carragher because he won't follow the narrative and basically dared to suggest that their issues stretch further beyond the injuries to St Virgil of Van Dijk and Gomes, go have a look in the Klopp thread on there it's hilarious honestly.
