Pep seems to have the defence as solid as it has ever been. Hopefully he maintains that approach and picks them off with some smart counters.

As you say, any score starting Liverpool 0 will be a great result for City.

Also I'm probably overthinking here, but we tend to have more supporters in the North End where people were moved from Scotty Road an Irish enclave , places like Crocky, Noggsy, Dovecot, Canny Farm, Fazakerley, Kirkby, Netherton all have more Blues than in the South End.

Back in the day, red and blue was spread more or less 50-50 across the whole city, orange, green, north, south, district, street...often individual houses and families, age groups, genders.
You were either blue or red and that was it.
You'll always get idiots mind, phone ins are like a pied piper's flute to the cult. Blues leave it to them.
 

Shipmanns has had fraudiolas number for a couple of seasons, sadly - instead of pep just playing his usual game, he over thinks everything and sets city up all wrong and the rs benefit.

If he does that again, the rs win.

If he doesn't, sets city up as they normally go, linked to the fragility in the rs side at the min, and the Pickford sized whole in defense - city win.

Hopefully, as kloppos on the way to going full on "Jack Torrance" with his recent scatty behaviour and excuses, he won't have got into peps noodle this time.

Michael Oliver is the ref today so you can virtually a guarantee he will award Liverpool a penalty.

City have conceded 1 goal in something like 8 games. I can see that continuing and City getting 2 or 3, but then again it’s the RS and the probably win 5-0
