Has anybody else noticed that while all other players 'lump the ball forward' when playing a long ball, Saint Virgil The Magnificent always 'pings a long pass up to Salah' (or at least, he did until his brutal murder). I'm not sure how exactly you 'ping' a ball, or how you tell the difference, but that's just me being bitter...

Stevie me laa did it for years, never a long ball. Always a defence splitting pass. Cant ever remember seeing a long ball to Sewerat or Torres......
