Has anybody else noticed that while all other players 'lump the ball forward' when playing a long ball, Saint Virgil The Magnificent always 'pings a long pass up to Salah' (or at least, he did until his brutal murder). I'm not sure how exactly you 'ping' a ball, or how you tell the difference, but that's just me being bitter...

Random annoyance but I wonder which smug droning pundit it was who started the annoying trend of referring to Alexander-Arnold as "Trent". I know bores like Jenas and Murphy do it. Theres a few double barrelled surnames knocking about in the Premier League now eg Ward-Prowse, Calvert-Lewin, Loftus-Cheek. But Ive never heard any of them referred to by just their first name.

It's not even the player's fault, he doesn't have Trent on the back of his shirt. It's just weird and frankly irritating. They don't refer to Robertson as Andy.

Was it Liverpool fans? I thought it was some United fans as he didn't score. Lot of knobheads out there either way, but if you support a raicst club, it's no surprise if their fans racially abuse black players.

The rs are a couple of draws away from struggling for top 4, never mind the title. I haven't seen the odds but I would make City 1/5, Man Utd 7/2 and the rs 6/1.
