ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think it’s beyond the realms of possibility but a full implosion from them resulting in them not even making top 4 would be glorious. Klopp would be off and they’d be left with ageing stars on absolute mega deals. City United look good bets for the top 4, and at this point I’m still in the mind set of ‘they’ll probably win the league so if they don’t that’s a good outcome’ but if they drop some more points and City get a good gap over them then it would be great to see Spurs Chelse Leicester and even us start to make them sweat on that top 4 spot. An injury to Mane Salah or Allison and they’d really start to panic.

It's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility - but for some perspective they are still 1/5 to qualify now, despite being 5/1 to win the league.

The big challange is their home form, they remain unbeaten & they will always pick up a decent volume of points, despite the form. I would back them to finish ahead of United personally.

Just seen this advertised on Facebook Marketplace.
A) Why would anyone even have such a thing to begin with?
B) At what point do you then think, well I probably don’t need my life-size St Virgil of the Crippled Virgins cardboard cutout any more?

Gonna buy it, cut one of its legs off and stick it in my garden.

I'll be buzzing if all we hear is how amazing Teeeeaaaaaarrrrrgo is with his 5 yard square passes. Means they're just continuing to convince themselves that hes something he's not.

They're missing Jota massively, he gives them a completely different energy because it looks to me like Firminho is spent. Hes given his best days to them and he'll be lobbed on the scrap heap in the summer if they can recoup a decent price for him.

I watched the game yesterday, baffled by Firmino - I thought he looked full of beans; very busy but his decision making and finishing was just awful. Maybe it's cause and effect; but he just looks shook for confidence

Think it’s touchy feely Klopp, he always seems to have his hand on Fimino’s bum.

Just checked, how did he get away with that, baffling to say the least.
You could see Tierney thinking about it and deciding nah I'm not booking Thiago, if it was Shaw or Henderson they were 100% getting booked. Not a conspiracy or anything but sometimes players with a "profile" need to commit hari kari to be booked, reference VVD for proof

Very much so. I just dont see what others say he brings. A simple tidy passer of the ball for sure but I haven't seen one moment where I've thought "wow, he's got that special something"

His body will break down before he strings a good run together anyway imo
He'll be in and out of the PL programme and probably has the CL campaign as his target.

I'm also laughing at the referee being criticised for blowing up 5 seconds early for half time. All Liverpool had done was punt a long ball upfield, and the defender was favourite to win it anyway if play had continued. To hear that bell end Henderson act so shocked, and to read 'expert' Dermot Gallagher make an issue about it is just pathetic.

Perhaps if they were through one on one with the goalkeeper on the stroke of one additional minute being up then they would be entitled to have a moan, but definitely not in this case.
