ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Changing the subject, but do we know what happened to their terrorist fan at the pier head? I'll rest easier tonight (given the date) knowing he's locked up and not out firing missiles at buildings.

Online poles are answered by young people who have seen and experienced little enough to think they know everything (I was once the same) - so their answers will go for recent players who have played for the sky brands that have most TV coverage.

Hence why no Tony Adams, Dave Watson or BEFORE football existed- Kevin Ratcliffe, Bobby Moore, Terry Butcher
That’s a bit racist. Expected better from you. :)

Looks as though his performances at Southampton haven’t counted then? Just the 2 and a half seasons he’s had for Liverpool. Compare that to the careers of Adams Terry Sol Campbell, Kompany etc. it’s a complete joke .

The problem with any kind of poll is that United and Liverpool fans absolutely love them and vote in huge numbers, it sways everything.

That's the laughable thing for me, when he was at Southampton we never had all the media creaming their Keck's over him, he moves to the RS and all of a sudden is labelled 'world class' best centre half the prem has ever seen etc.

It was the same with Henderson, a good player at Sunderland, moves to the RS and all of a sudden he's elevated to a different level by the media.

If he was so good he wouldn't have spent a large chunk of his career at celtic and Southampton. Don't see ramos and pique spending half their career at those levels. It's all media bs to try and vindicate the overpaid fee though. A serious lack of world class centre backs creates this myth around him atm. You could see a player for Burnley bought for £1m put in the exact same performances and there'd be no such reaction.

At the end of the day, the best defenders ever don't end up letting 7 v aston villa.

Down here in Grimdon the rozzers have caught a bunch of louts with holdalls full of rickets they've been firing at buildings.

I blame the rs for starting this obviously copycat behaviour.

City had a centre back called Daniel Van Buyten when Keegan was the manager.
He was everything VVD wants to be. Powerful, good on the ball, good in the air
he very rarely put a foot wrong. I think he went to Bayern Munich. Absolute
top class player that lad was.
He was a good player, I randomly ended up in the changing rooms when Hamburg played Valencia in the intertoto cup final. He was playing for Hamburg and I was wasted the night before we played Villarreal and somehow ended up in the Hamburg changing rooms at half time
