ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Here is a recent article where Carlo talks about his own injury record - he ruptured the ACL in both legs. Once in 1981 causing him to miss the World Cup Finals which Italy won, and again in 1984 when he missed the European Cup Final against the RS. I imagine no vigils would have been held for him at the time. I wonder if he will refer to this in his presser?

Wow, didn't know about that. I'm sure Carlo won't bring it up in the press conference, and anyway he's far too busy instructing our players to go out and deliberately injure the opposition. Apparently.

Tonight’s video ‘it’s time to end the Jordan Pickford hysteria’ is absolutely superb.

Agreed, don’t usually watch their videos but they were spot on about it all.

Interesting if Everton are looking into legal options over all the slander we and Jordan Pickford are receiving. If Everton roll over and take this on the chin they’ll just keep doing it to us. I fully expect media black outs to certain journalists and broadcasters, need to make a point of it ourselves.

Morning kopite lurkers
Public announcement
British summer time ends at 2am on Sunday 25th October at 2am when the clocks will revert back to 1am
You should all make good use of this extra hour by joining your sleepless heroes in a full hour of prayer to Satan to restore VVDs knee
If possible you should organise a petition beforehand for the clocks to back to 12 noon on Saturday the 17 th October therefore allowing you to warn VVD of the impending assault by wee Jordan and he can stay out of the penalty box

Is there still the outrage out there or has a new outrage yet? I'm hoping that Sheffield do something that is controversial so they can all move on to another new victimhood.
Hope Chris Wilder comes out and says that he expects the decisions to go against his team this week due to the overreaction and hysteria they have created after last weekends game.
Adding that it puts pressure on officials to favour them in the future.

No chance mate, he loves Liverpool, he said it himself before their game last season. Another brown nose who’s team will roll over at the weekend.

thats not uncommon, the ACL is one of the two major structural ligaments that hold the knee together but allowing most movement in the forward/backward plane, and a little in the lateral plane, there are other ligament structures around the outside of the knee, surrounding the knee capsule. It's likely that if the inner major structure is compromised, the outer ones will also suffer damage, there will also likely be cartilage damage too although looking at the way he walked off relatively pain free, I'd say if there is any cartilage damage, it will nee easy to tidy up. I'd say this is media story mongering and upping the ante. There may well be extra damage but there normally is.
I tend to concur with this analysis

They injured ajax's striker within 10 mins and nobody has said anything about it, media outlets have applauded the challenge that caused the injury, nothing new.

That can't be right. You mean someone had an ACL injury before Van Dijk???
