ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Could well be the case mate - I did a bit of reading on how it broke down at Dortmund the other day & essentially he had as bad an injury crisis as you can imagine. He had Lukasz Piszczek, Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic, Marian Sarr, Marcel Schmelzer, Sven Bender, Ilkay Gundogan, Sebastian Kehl and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all out at the same time & a good few with knee injuries.

I would wonder is this a case of burn out rather than bad luck. They have now had two significant knee injuries recently.
Get the Liverpool Penalty Statistician on the case to see if Klopp ruins knees more than other managers.

That's what no one is sure of though are they? It's his right leg that Pickford hurts isn't it and that's the one he's in pain with. Or have I got that wrong?
If you read Hunter’s article that’s linked, it’s his right knee. I had to look it up yesterday and the only source I could find that mentioned which side was The New York Times.

Just looking at his last 3 seasons:

2019/20 51 days out injured
2018/19 34 days out injured
2017/18 122 days out injured

...he also had 3 massive knee injury lay offs in 2013/14-2014/15 seasons.

He's going to be one of those players they'll be lucky to have n the pitch. And anything around the knee will be a struggle for him.

Very good player, but Ild have doubts about injury record / attitude to get out on the pitch week in and week out.
You can say that again Dave.

We are definitely going to pay even more of a price with dodgy var/referee decisions in the near future, that's nailed on.

It doesn't look now as if supporters are going to be back by February which can only be good for us as honestly I think that would be a complete bear-pit there and we'll get no protection from the referee that game.

This is what gets me about them - look at the Man City "bus" incident where lives could have been lost. I really don't fancy our lads making it from the car park to the dressing rooms there in one piece under normal/non-covid conditions under these circumstances, yet their fans and established social media channels are allowed to stoke up raw hatred with no consideration of the consequences, as per.

When this happened to poor Seamus they said that their disgraceful song below was just banter! Did any of the press ever condemn this repulsive behaviour from the mutant gang of scruffs?

I've hidden the pic in a spoiler tag as it is rather graphic.

How's your leg, How's your leg, Seamus Coleman?
How's your leg? How's your leg, I pray?
How's your leg? How's your leg, Seamus Coleman?
I hope you never play again.

That last line! What a disgusting, classless bunch they are.
