ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I don't care about this season now. I hope that everyone is well and safe including the rs. Football should look after all the clubs and help each of them support the communities they serve.

When you see the numbers of cases and deaths increasing constantly, does anyone REALLY care about kicking a ball?

I am still trying to get my head around that the last game I watched involved Liverpool being 2-0 up at home in extra time. And then shipping 3 goals.

But if I could alter time, and they won 5-0 instead, and then secured this title they crave so badly, in exchange for this virus not existing, then I would take that scenario in a heartbeat.

We just have to hope that this awful period we are in at the moment, makes people reflect on what really matters in life.

It's easily sorted.

Void the league , give all teams their prize money but nothing is awarded / relegated. That way Liverpool get the the prize of the money without giving them a title that wasn't won.

No European football next season as a knock on effect of what has happened.

Start all seasons back as normal in August giving Europe 5 months to get everything in order.

I don't know if this question has been up before, but I hav nt
heard any mention of any rs player going down with this virus
which to me seems odd as our players have.

Thats exactly correct mate. It will need to be resolved before June 30th when new contracts come in. Everyone in football apart from Liverpool will understand this.

If they start with different players, law suits galore.

yep, and UEFA surely know this too? Maybe they cancelled the euros to give leagues an extra month, but they can't do anymore than that. Do contracts expire all around europe in July? They start seasons at different times, so do they all do contract start dates around about the same time (obviously not all on the exact same date).

whatever they're jacked up on makes them immune to viruses etc. Van dijk was a sicknote before he went there, i'm sure mane had his fair share of injury problems too.

A lot of good questions there mate. Yes I think UEFA know this, hence why they are steering the conversation the way they are.

I think they had to cancel the the nations league, a bit of credit in the bank for when they have to make tough decisions. I also think, in all honesty it's a pipe dream to think we have a tournament, across 12 countries starting on June 12th. I don't see that as realistic at all.

The standard football contract for 99% of them will end on June 30th, to coincide with the transfer window. To change that, almost as an after thought on the back of a fag packet is just going to cause a whole array of problems. For better or worse, the transfer window system works. It's taken years to get to it. Whats in it for anyone other than Liverpool to rip it up and start again?

Contracts generally start July 1st.

Shut the [Poor language removed] up you big nosed [Poor language removed]. Nobody's interested - NOBODY.

Interesting that he is happy to bin off every other tournament (Europe, FA Cup) that they have been knocked out of but we have to complete the Premier League. Interesting!

The EFL. have stated they will finish the present season. This means the PL will follow suit Im sure. So says Rick Parry - I wonder why he wants it completed?

I'm guessing Rick Parry has a vaccine tucked between his ballsack that he hasn't told anyone about so we can then get the show up and running.

Honestly, some of the crap spouted from ex players of theirs, news reporters today on Sky has been nothing short of disgraceful.

Best team of the season? Yes
League winners as things stand? No
