Surely if you have a virus that stays hidden in carriers for 5 days and spreads rapidly you don't allow thousands of people form a city where said virus is rife to visit a cit that has only 5 cases at the moment.

Gatherings of 1000 people are not allowed in Madrid at all. Gathering of thousands of people from Madrid are allowed in Liverpool though???

Absolute rubbish, it's common sense, to delay the spread of a virus that is killing some people, nothing at all to do with Liverpool and Everton, this sadly is to do with all forms of sporting events, where it leads to Countries entering other Countries. Why did it spread from China ? We need to be more vigilant, genuinely worried about this, please don't treat my post about it being against Liverpool FC or something else as one other fool has. Not saying your a fool btw.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the virus mate, unless you have pre-existing conditions it’s not particularly dangerous

I'm 60 on Sunday and a Diabetic, my wife is the same age with a, at times, comes and goes chronic cough condition. So as you can see I am a little concerned. Hopefully this will pass us all by.

bit strange all sporting events in europe are either cancelled or are behind closed doors. It's like this country is waiting for the numbers to get high enough to justify behind closed doors sport rather than actually trying to prevent numbers getting high.

Yeah I think as a country we should be doing more. What you say about them letting fans come over from Madrid is 100 percent correct. They will just allow this Virus to spread. It will more than likely get out of hand here like it has in Italy. I really hope it doesn’t.

I am 31 an rather healthy so am not to worried about myself but I am worried about members of my family. people shouldn’t think am young an healthy so who cares they to should be thinking about the old and the sick and doing everything they can to prevent it spreading. my mum has Heart failure so she really can’t afford to get it. As you said hopefully it will pass us all by.
