Give it a rest mate. I didn’t agree with a poster that said City need a massive overhaul. Therefore I’m a RS? Okie doke. Is that all you do on here? Go around casting aspersions on posters allegiances? The poster above @MikeB1980 agrees with me, is he a RS too? We all know that’s what you mean with you’re carefully worded reply.

They shot themselves in the foot by not getting a replacement for him. The injury to Sane hindered them too, less so given the competition in that position, but he got them a few points coming off the bench last season. Defense is where they‘ve suffered though. Laporte getting injured, LB injury prone. They won it last year whilst playing Delph or another midfielder (Zinchenko) that could do a job there, a lot of the season, that problem was there last season, they got Angelino who he doesn’t seem to rate. Also the extra pressure of winning the League 3 times on the bounce takes its toll, not many teams have done it. There’s not much wrong with that City team that a CD and a LB won’t solve. Silva will be retiring, Foden will step up. A massive overhaul? We’re not talking Utd of 6-7 years ago here.

Don't answer a question with a question. Or numerous questions in this case, but I'll answer them all. Yes, pretty much, pretty much, probably and yes.

Every elite sporting organization are sailing as close to the wind as they dare with supplements and performance management. City have that bonkers cryo chamber, Chelsea got investigated for platelet injections to speed recovery, Wenger was convinced Serie A was off the charts in terms of blood doping and there were several footballers who were identified in the Puerto investigation.

The fact is that if Liverpool are running an organized player doping ring then most of the premier league is. It's not complicated or expensive. However, with the amount of times PL players are tested in a year and the bio passport, I'm not convinced its possible. Perhaps one or two players free lance micro dosing, but to not trigger the passport you'd have to use at such a low level the benefit would be negligible.

Unless they've got their hands on something that doesn't get detected in dope tests? I remember watching a BBC documentary where a journalist was getting some kind of EPO from China. His performance (cycling) went through the roof, and nothing came up in tests.

There was no test for synthetic EPO at that point. But even if they did that, it would still trip the bio passport. You don't need a positive test under that.
