ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They've lost one game in about 2 seasons, they're European and World Champions and about a billion miles ahead of every one else.
Against my better judgment, I watched their game last night at Leicester and that was the most complete performance any away side has produced in years.
I hate to say it, but they are the best side in the world at the moment. I've not seen a demolition job like they did in a big game since the United sides of the 90's.
There's no juiced up, there's no VAR favours, they are just way too good for everyone over a season, whether or not City beat them in a one off return game.
They spent next to nothing over the summer, while everyone else spent fortunes. Even with injuries, they still get the job done. There is no doubt that Klopp is the best manager in the world.
I hate acknowledging it, but they are just very good.
With City losing tonight, it's not if, but just when they win the title.

They are going to win the league by March. I can genuinely see them winning it by around 25 points. City will drop plenty more points. I also think they'll go unbeaten and beat the points record. Just hope Leicester drop like a stone. Unfortunately we've left it too late to take a shot at the top four even though it's wide open, typical kin Everton. Wolves were being touted as being burned out in September, now they're two points off Champions League and into knockout stage of Europa League. A truly horrible season, one of the very worst.

We've got Klopp and Ancelotti in the city at the moment, a few years ago we had Moyes and Hodgson.

We could live in Bristol, Nottingham or Stoke and be comparing notes

Thanks. I feel so much better now... I should have realised that the parade of them to the most one-sided title race ever should be of no consequence to me because we have a manager who may improve us as well in time. What words of rational wisdom.

No. That's not how it works, and I have a feeling you know that only too well

Still, Sky and the Media have got what they wanted - the most tedious title run-in ever seen, and a host of neutrals who won't want to watch Liverpool games, either because they quite rightly loathe them or because there's just nothing to play for

They can have their own little sandpit to play in, with the head teacher making sure none of us oiks risk them being disturbed

Absolutely stinks of rat around here.

I really do think they're on PEDs mate, but that said I think most other clubs are too. Liverpool will just be the best at it.

I'm just glad they've won it in a year where they actually are the best team instead of fluking it. I can accept that. Even if I hate it.

And it doesn't make you less of a blue to acknowledge it. Liverpool have been well run for a number of years and this is the result of it. I think City play better football when they are on form, but they just haven't been on form much this season. Injuries, fatigue, whatever it is they just haven't. I think Liverpool showed last season that if City slipped up, they were good enough to get the title. Now that Everton have a proper manager, things will start to even up. In times like this, I'd be more than happy to give credit where it is due, knowing good times are ahead for me and my club. I support a team 22 points off of the Championship, for goodness sake, and finished 20th in that league last year. We are going nowhere, we have nothing to look forward to, we are owned by some Chinese investment firm who have done the square root of EFF ALL in the few years they've owned the club. Everton are going forward with a new stadium and have a proven world class manager. Struggling these last few months shouldn't mean you lose sight of what's going on, and it shouldn't mean you can't say the obvious things like 'yes, Liverpool are good'. In fact, who would deny that?

I disagree bro, I used to play in midfield so I always tend to watch the midfielders in any game and how they perform, it'd frustrate me to some tune to watch the ball flying over my head as often as they ping it. Henderson is bang average, I wouldn't call him shilt but he is bang average, and others in their middle aren't much better, so for those average players to be so dominant (as a team) is baffling. Decent at the back, quality up front though but to have a 1/3rd of your team being average shouldn't have you so far ahead.

Not baffling at all, top quality management is what you're seeing , the bang average players motivated to cover every blade of grass and don't make sloppy mistakes, they turn the ball over and get it to the quality lads up front as efficiently as possible. I've just decided to accept it, and hope a European giant is tapping up Klopp sometime soon.
