ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

That is utterly disgusting.

They're dancing all over that lad's grave with every one of these horrendous sessions.

"I, I, I...I know the death of Jota is not something that the family of football feels more than his actual family and football is nothing in comparison...but, but, but...can we talk about collective grief and work it in that way?"

Just STFU you weird scum.
You are correct. It is disgusting and was not an issue when they started the season winning for fun.

This whole grief thing really is offensive. What they've done is lost a co-worker. I've done that. Shock but then you carry on.

I lost my wife of 30 years five months ago. Let them try that for size and then bleat about their workmate.

It isn't even in the same postcode, and to act as if it is is simply brutally insensitive to those who have had their lives ripped apart with real devastation.

But it doesn't surprise me one bit. It's who and what they are. An utter disgrace. Once again.

You'd hope that even the halfwit BBC eejit who decided this would make a great contributor/pundit subject should be embarrassed by this.

One LFC side..players...manager... coaching staff... yards away from the absolute worst of UK football disasters unfolding right in front them, grief stricken yet attending heart breaking Requiem Masses and Funerals comforting hundreds of the bereaved and thousands of supporters. A month later, still grieving, they valiantly beat us at Wembley to win the FA Cup.

Knee jerk excuses are one thing. Ill thought out ones another ball game.

There are 15 Portugese players in the premier league. Are they ever asked how the are feeling about Jota and how it's affected their performance? What would be the reaction if Fernandez and Dalot cited Jota every time Manu got beat. It's absolutely sickening the way they keep mentioning 'collective grief for their poor results. They can't analysis why they are doing poorly, because they never accept the helping hand they get from the officials, that helps them win games. Or that Allison pulls off a load of saves, which means the opposition has created a golden chance. Or the dubious penalties they get.
The thing about European refs is that they don't give pens for all the diving that goes on, especially at a field, unlike the spinless prem refs .

I wouldn’t shed any tears for them, but I don’t think I’d actively root for it either

Relegation battles are hell and have genuinely taken something out of me that I don’t think I’ve ever really got back

It’s brutal

Mate, I'm old enough to remember their fans parading a coffin draped in blue flags at Villa Park in 94 when we were 2 down to Wimbledon. They were having the time of their lives when it looked like we were doomed.

In recent years they've absolutely thrived off our misery and plight, even whilst they were winning all kinds they wanted us down more than anything.

And they parade Bucharest 86 banners on the Kop.

[Poor language removed] them.
