ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Papered over the cracks for me, it might be a blessing in the long run. Slot stays and continues to be clueless.
Make no mistake, Villas tactics gave them that.
Madrid should be far too good, and if Guardiola adopts to their weakness then City should smash them too.

Morning Rats Lurkers :bye:

Villa still found space at will between the lines and could get multiple shots off. Better teams will punish them.

Honestly, what other team could lose five domestic games on the trot, then win one via an error and a deflection, and magically be 'back' as if nothing had happened??

Footballs not a sport mate it’s a marketing game.

There isn’t a chance in the world that the RS will be allowed to fail, there are to many fans or markets around the world - the game is yo, the title win last season was contrived.

That’s the way football is now it’s corrupt, mo eh has ruined us! Remember we were two up vs Utd last season and they were allowed be beat at 12.30 on TV for all their fans in Hong Kong and Singapore and got two ropey decisions and everything going - of the drama and subscriptions!

Game is gone.

I think the City- Liverpool game will settle matters: if Liverpool are going to get back in the title race in a big way they'll turn City over. I dont believe in the City recovery (at least just yet) and they're nowhere near the force they were. If City beat Liverpool you have to think that 5 defeats will be too much lost ground for them. 5 defeats is the rule of thumb on title aspiration failure usually, and if they get that so early in the season it *has* to be curtains for them.
