ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Maybe he's having a go at the recruitment team, because he cant seriously be suggesting that the PL club he manages and who hold ALL the spending records haven't spent enough.

This feller is coming across as what we all believed he was: a clueless Dutch fraud who PGMOL and the PL carried to a title in the season they put City on the naughty step.

Well, Edwards only returned after Klopp left and remember, he left in the first place because he wasn’t a fan of the transfer committee setup. He came back only after FSG promised him greater autonomy, once Klopp had announced he was off. During that period, Klopp pushed hard for Nunez, while Edwards and Ian Graham preferred Nkunku and Isak. Seeing the direction things were headed, Edwards thought, “Fk this.”

Does he want sacking or something
I think he actually does. Some of the comments and excuses from him after spending half a billion quid scream it.

He knows he peaked last season, flunking and fluke-ing a league title, with shippmanns asthmatics still full of salbutamol and running.

The new signings are not the same kind of players as those who they replaced (Diaz is a massive miss for them, even the crab Nunez and also Jota but not to a lesser degree) so they can’t do what they did last season.

Add salah and van baders huge new contracts and drop off in form while being undroppable, and the over paying of wirtz and isak (also undroppable) and even the fullbacks which has totally unbalanced the team he had.

The fans have already turned on him, so he must be thinking wtf, this ain’t worth it, I’ll have me pay off.

Na he's just Ten Hag 2.0 at this point

For a good many years I was amazed at the continuing homage to Dutch managers based on if they're from the land of Cruyff they must be brilliant.
Guus Hiddink, Van Gaal, Koeman, Ruud Gullit Frank de Boer, and Ten Hag in my opinion flattered to deceive in the PL.
Like many I honestly thought the RS pulled off a master stroke by unearthing a relative unknown who sauntered into post and won the title. Then murmurs from the kopites rapidly turning into outright howling seem to be right that it was Herr Shipmans team after all.

All we can do is sit back and enjoy it for as long as it lasts/Klopp comes back.

It would help if we could win the odd game too

Socialist FC being the ultimate capitalists.
I'm actually happy they got him, they deserve each other, he's an absolute dog and I don't have to explain them.

There's 5 players now that Slot can't possibly drop.

Big Virg will kick off if he gets dropped.
Big Mo will sulk and the crowd will kick off if he gets dropped.
The forward, the poor overrated German, and now the nasty Isak cannot be dropped with the money they spent on them.
Their test will come with a bad patch, I foresee infighting and a complete meltdown in that squad.
I didn’t think it would happen this quick mind you.
Slot is done.
I also doubt a new manger, even Klopp could turn this lot round.
Big Virg is done
Big Mo is done.

They are now average
Wirst average
Frimpong average
Kerkes average
Konate average
MacAllister average
Bradley average.
That’s a lot of bog standard players.

Add in Alexander arnold with 10 g/a last season. He has been lucky to get the start he did this year will all that "added time" helping them.
