ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Looking from the outside, I think he's made too many changes to the original setup he inherited, has lost their balance and looks clueless at fixing it.

Under Klopp, they were infamous for their high press, whereas the players he has brought in don't really fit that model, whilst Salah looks aged.

He inherited a defence, whilst having its flaws, that worked relatively well; now, his full backs look unable to defend and the CBs are all at sea.

The midfield no longer looks industrious, either. If you ask a RS what their style of play is at the moment, you'll likely get a mix of jumbled words...

... because they don't really have one. For me, it's a square peg in round holes situation, and he hasn't shown the capacity to make the relevant changes.

They can say all the like that the EFL Cup isn't a priority, and in the grand scheme of things it probably isn't, but it ignores a couple of key points.

They're in a rut, and a result could have brought stability and respite, instead it's poured more fuel onto the fire. He's throw more players under the bus.

Is that going to ignite their confidence in Slot and his system? A defeat or even a draw against Villa, and the Madrid game becomes pivotal.
Mmm. Maybe…….or….Palace booted them to the moon. That really.

Moyes after Ferguson I'd say.

At least Martinez started with entertaining football and our highest PL points total, though it did unravel later.

Anyway it is most entertaining.

Slot started with a league title (Martinez highest points total) based on Klopp's settled team (the defense Moyes left), signed his own players and now it's crumbling.

It's exactly Martinez after Moyes

He's Martinez after Moyes, basically.
Said that to a few kopites that that was the potential worry and it’s come true .Helped by a crap competition last year and particularly the easy start .

I also think For all my hate of the man klopp was big on team spirit and ethos and slot has thrown that in the air .

It’s tactical , it’s personnel and I think it’s team dynamics
