ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think the article is saying about players who were born in Ireland - Irish nationality? Aldridge was born in Liverpool (I think) and played for Ireland because of his grandmother or uncle’s cousin’s auntie’s dog or something.
From his Wiki,

Aldridge had already been recruited to play for the Republic of Ireland by the time he was approached by Liverpool at the start of 1987, qualifying through his grandmother, who was also his sister.*

They have had some negative press this week, the latest one about the loss of Trent Alexander Arnold and the £400m they spent.

Personally think they will steamroll a very flimsy UTD side today.

Shame it’s United at Anfield today. Think they’d have been nervous if it was a decent counter attacking team and the and their atmosphere would have been flat as a pancake. United will gift them an easy win to give them some confidence back.

I'm going against most, I think Man U will win, their forward line will give big Virgin the run around, lets wait for the bend over as he back pedals.
I think United score 2 or more, it's up to the Ref to help the RS now.
I think United will get a result today…. And RS heads will fall off.

But then I also thought we would get a result at City yesterday!

Looking forward to the RS arguing about vvd elbowing his own player and they should have stopped play. Mac calaster needed some dodgy banaage but obviously no concussion.
The physio should be allowed to come on for a head injury while play continues this would stop players going down holding their head to stop play and actual injuries get treatment quickly.
