ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

There were glimmers last season that made me curious as to how Slot would handle the pressure when things weren’t plain sailing. A loss to Chelsea and Arsenal overtaking them could tell us a lot about his resilience.
He seems to be cracking a little. Still don't understand how they walked it last season. Looks like their signings have made them weaker. Still top but not playing well at all. Strange one. Just hope they get relegated

Liverpool getting airlifted to a massive lead by referees followed by Arsenal having a huge injury crisis where literally all their forwards were out at the same time. Liverpool were getting worse as the season went on but no one could get near enough to put them under pressure. PGMOL have tried the same this season, they wanted the gap at 8 points this week.

The top teams in the league were really poor last year and Salah went wild. They took Alexander-Arnold out the team because he had the audacity to leave and Salah's form fell off a cliff.

His form is still awful and Arsenal & City have improved.

Marmadashvilli will step in for Allison and Chiesa might come in for Ekitike, which is weird because apparently they spent ‘nothing’ in last summer’s window but those two players cost 40 mill combined….

Expectations following last year’s title win along with a huge outlay in the summer will amplify the pressure if he loses a few on the bounce.

They walked it last year because nobody else was at the races. If a few teams can at least keep pace and sustain the pressure this time round I can see them faltering, especially with their defence looking shaky.
