ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I landed at Dalaman Airport yesterday about 11.45am local time, there was a group of 6 kopite fans on my flight panicking as they were in the wrong airport…. It’s about a 9 hour drive to where the match was, yesterday I was giggling at the thought of them missing the match, woke up today hoping they made it to see that 😂😂😂😂

There were glimmers last season that made me curious as to how Slot would handle the pressure when things weren’t plain sailing. A loss to Chelsea and Arsenal overtaking them could tell us a lot about his resilience.

I said last season i thought they were up there as possibly the worst champions since Blackburn Rovers. They've lost that klopp factor. I hated it but you'd go there under klopp hoping not to get battered. Few weeks ago i was so frustrated with Moyes as we went there with the usual mentality. By time we realised you know what they're not actualy as good as they think it was to late.
For a club thats spent half a billion on that team they're nothing great.

The first I knew that they lost or even played last night was the main headline on the Liverpool FC Official BBC site.

Apparently, it could very well be a transition year, it read 'Is Liverpool's transition year coming a year late'.

I am sorry, but I can't have a transition year being one where a team spent close to half a billion quid on players. That is just insane to think that this is their excuse for 2 defeats on the trot. Surely, 'New signings not settling in/gelling' is more realistic, however maybe that would mean criticism for their manager and players, so I guess they went with the ridiculous version of events, in October, after winning all their previous games.

They’re nowhere near Klopp’s teams. I dont even know what Slot’s teams are good at. The defence is absolutely porous and let’s bang average teams in on goal numerous times each half. There’s no midfielder that you can guarantee will score double figures. Then upfront you have Salah and Wirtz who are both absolutely reeking at the moment.

Their man game plan seems to be to hope the opposition doesn’t score one of the many chances they’ll give them and then hope they get a lucky bobble, set piece or penalty at the end of the match. That can’t carry on if they want to win the title.
