ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Big few fixtures coming up for them. They look very jaded right now but they'll probably click into gear again. Even if they do struggle, an Arsenal that has Sterling starting every game isn't going to push too hard.

Is diving not a yellow card now? Genuine question.

I was coming home from work and had Radio Merseyaide on and the little rs ferret Craig Hignett was adamant it was a pen for Jota as he had to "dive out of the way so he didn't get injured".

Why wasn't Jota booked? He went to the screen so he could see it was blatant simulation and cheating. Or are players now allowed to dive 10 times a match in the hope that one dive wins a pen as there's no consequence?

That's not incompetent refereeing, its corrupt. It's match fixing and I don't see how anyone can disagree with it. It's either match fixing results, match fixing amount of yellow cards, fouls, shots, dives or whatever, but thats corrupt and not incompetence

Because Hooper got it completely wrong in real time. They can't give yellows after VAR even though in that case it was 100% warranted.

Cheers mate, i would have thought once they get to see the replay and turn down a pen, they can then in turn give a card for simulation.

Basically your allowed a free dive then and 50/50 if the ref sees it or not
