ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Imaging drawing a game 2-2…. Then you’re player not being able to take that so he kicks off like a petulant child… then gets himself sent off, then you’re manager can’t take it either so gets himself sent off and then one of his minions can’t accept it either and he also gets sent off…… for drawing a game šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ ā€˜kin laughing stock they are… the whole football world has witnessed this and are laughing at them … they are an absolute laughing stock
Yet it was OUR Cup Final šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚
We live rent free in their heads
The complete utter meltdown between their players, staff and fan base has been nuclear and has made Tarki's goal ever the sweeter

Arne slot he lost the plot
Arne slot he lost the plot

I watched the game last night, he should have been given about 6 separate yellow cards for his antics on the touchline.

He's feeling the pressure for some unknown reason, I imagine being questioned about his team selection for the FA Cup has rattled him. But rattled he certainly was Wednesday evening to the point he was a complete embarrassment

So much whining from a team apparently not bothered. Their record at Goodison is trash at a time when they’ve had their best premier league team and we’ve had our worst

When we start competing with them properly again they’re not going to be able to cope. Get used to this feeling you entitled narcissists, it’s coming your way a lot more in the coming years.

Love this optimism by the way.

Hope you're right, more for Everton being good more than anything.

Why though? I don't get it?

Me and the old man were having a chat about this yesterday and the quote was

"Imagine if the roles were reversed, and we'd won the lot in the past decade whilst they struggled to stay alive... i wouldn't give a toss".

But all I've seen over the past 24 hours is the reds being in arms about being robbed, "cup final", "celebrating goals" etc...

Has it just came full circle? They're back to despising us? I hope so. Man Utd - Liverpool shouldn't he the rivalry.

Would love Everton - Liverpool to re-emerge as the big fixture moreso because Wednesday was just great entertainment, a throwback to previous derbies when it meant more to both sides.

We’ve been sell to buy for 30 years with a couple of exceptions when Moshiri first joined. The stadium changes everything though. We’ve now got wealthy owners, more revenue from the stadium, and owners who know how to maximise commercial deals. I’m hoping it means sustained investment for Everton, better teams, and that will translate into a better derby record in the long term.

*Sigh* it's embarrassing but I'm honestly considering writing a letter to Jonathan Liew.

Every article he writes in the flowery language he loves so much, banging on about our spending over the years.

The countless digs in that article after yesterday about the fans, the quality of the players, the clubs misdirection...

Not one good word about the character of the players who dug deep and left everything on the pitch. No it was all fortunate bounces and luck because how else could little everton ever match mighty reds (who were pap for a large part of yesterday.) We didn't salvage a deserved point because of our own quality no, it was all ThE mAdnEss oF FOoTball!

Posh weapon.

Something about our existence really offends him.

To be honest, if you turned around and told me, we'd compete for every trophy and lost every Derby for the rest of time, I'd be alright with it.

Everton first, everyone else second.

But i hope the new stadium is the catalyst we need to really kick on and establish ourselves back at the top.
