ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It is just a bit of banter and giving it back to the crowd. Loads of players have done it. You just can't do it against them apparently.

Curtis Jones escalated it but Doucoure is the "bad guy." Jones should be getting a lengthy ban for violent conduct that triggered the afters. Although by the time Tarkowski, Branthwaite and O'Brien got there, most Liverpool players were looking for an excuse to run away. No backbone in that Liverpool team. Get into them and they fall apart.

You've only learned that in the last 24 hours
I don’t pay much attention to them, but honest to god I’d be embarrassed if I was a tricky red today. They are about to win the league at a canter and they are losing their focus cos someone upset their little fans.

Toys, Pram, rattles. Little babies didn’t like it them did they? That’s what surprised me and why they bottle the league so much is they can’t handle the tough times. You’d think they had just done a stretch in a Ukraine deployment.

Kopites completely routed:

  • lost 2 points
  • buckled in the final minute
  • celebration all night of Goodison Park on the telly
  • heads fell off after Doucoure had them off
  • national and international headlines today about about their racist fans

Never mind your Man Utds and City's who are supposed to be their hated rivals, no club boils their piss more than Everton Football Club.

We will always be the authentic Merseyside club, we will always be their superiors. They know it and they cant handle it.

Posters on RAWK saying they were getting abused as "dirty murdering scum" all night.

If the shoe fits....

They don't though - those aren't hard men or anything like that, they just get away with anything. Any player can be a hard man if blatant fouls they commit aren't given, or if they somehow manage to make 5-6 fouls a game but never get yellows for them.

Can you imagine a team making 20+ fouls and getting 3 cards (would've been 2 but Curtis' was just undeniable) and finding this unjust?
Better yet, out of those 20, 6 were by Luis Diaz, 3 or 4 of those for the exact same offence of pushing the player without even contesting for the ball. He ended the game with nothing given to him.

I get there's different types, etc., but "persistent fouling" has been a regular yellow card for about 40 years now?

For comparison, our 3 cards - Gana: 2 soft fouls; Doucoure: 2 soft fouls; Lindstrom - not even for a foul but arguing with the ref (they only had Salah, Diaz, Robertson, Mac Allister doing it all the time so its ok for them to not be carded).
My point was that that the hard men of the past.... The Giles, The Bremner, The Chopper Harris....were pulled up for it and booked. Their hard knock sly horrors... TAA, MacAllister,Diaz etc rarely do and seemingly have carte blanche to do as they like. Ive called this out regularly here since VVD (another get out of jail free merchant) came with Arnold, Robertson and a variety of others there. No change there then. Some games theyve been lucky not to get 2 or more of theirs sent off straight red, never mind for two yellows.
