ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This forum is like a MAGA convention, anything that attacks our local rivals is lapped up without the merest of scrutiny. Someone posts facts and figures or links to articles or even the findings from the French investigation into the events of Paris and it is all some RS conspiracy. Is that the level we have descended to ?

Please provide some evidence for the Liverpool end being full and thousands being locked outside.

As for fake tickets the French Police went from 30,000 to 40,000 fake tickets to 2,000 tickets not being recognised as genuine which included genuine tickets taking multiple attempts to be recognised.

The real issue is that PSG fans had exactly the same issues at that end as far backs as 2016. The French authorities had problems at that end weeks before at the French Cup Final. They had problems days later at the game between France and Denmark. The issue was that well known that the message about the late arrival of fans that appeared on-screen was pre-prepared because they knew if there was a delay it would be at that end.

So either there are real problems at that end or there is a RS conspiracy that includes PSG, French national team fans and Denmark fans. Even better, the conspiracy pre-dates the CL final by six years. Well-organised them RS aren't they ?

Or maybe we should grow up, forget the playground stuff and realise that ANY team that had that end would have had problems. Far too many of our fans jumped on the events of Paris with glee and simply won't lose face even if the evidence is insurmountable. UEFA have already apologised to their lot. Let it
go for God’s sake.

Please do.

Those travelling with fake tickets have blood on their hands if that’s the case. And your bellend of a manager
If any of their lot knowingly bought fake tickets and attempted to use them to gain entry to the Stadium then yes, they most certainly were part of the problem. However my impression is that most of the people who bought fake tickets spent hundreds if not thousands of pounds for them and were scammed.

Then we have the issue of fans travelling without tickets. The thing is the host Cities incur costs to hosts major final events and then look to recoup their costs. The fan park at Cours de Vincennes held 44,000 fans despite Liverpool only receiving just over 19,000 tickets.

I was in London for a conference at the time of the Women's Euro's and there were fan parks everywhere. Those fan parks were populated by fans of all nations. Are you suggesting fans shouldn't be able to watch games in fan parks or local bars ?

As I posted earlier, three Hillsborough survivors have taken their own lives since the events of Paris. Please let that sink in.
I've heard about this, but will the fans who sold fake tickets feel ashamed? I doubt it, will those who knowingly tried to gain entry with fake tickets be ashamed? I doubt it, will those who tried to climb fences to gain entrance and over crowd the stadium feel ashamed? I doubt it, will the manager who disgracefully encouraged ticket less fans to travel to Paris apologise to the famies of these people? I doubt it.
The behaviour of Liverpool fans is getting out of control, actions have consequences, but because of the lack of self-awareness they have nothing will change, they disgracefully had 100s outside Goodison at the derby too, are they ever going to learn? I doubt it.

We got there in the end

Could you please explain how you make the leap from fake tickets being sold to the perpetrators being fans. That is the problem with the rhetoric on this site at the moment.

Then we get to their lot having fans outside after kick off at the Derby.

That happened to our fans at the Anfield Derby in 2014.

Hmm? Should i buy my tickets from a reputable source? The club? UEFA? An affiliated travel company?

Nah, I'll get them from some bloke off twitter.

Difference is kopites would only go to these fan zones if they have tried all means to bunk into the stadium. And that is stealing from their own, climbing fences, charging gates, barriers, fake tickets.
