I feel mean spirited saying this, given he raised all that money, but you can't really claim an incubator will save hundreds of lives unless you can claim every fixture and fitting in a hospital will save hundreds of lives. It's a really unusual way of describing a piece of kit in a hospital. Technically you'd probably lose loads of lives if you didn't have beds in a hospital, but buying a bed doesn't mean you've saved any lives, it's just an expected piece of kit. It's like saying a bus driver has saved loads of lives by having functional brakes.

If it feels a bit "off" for me to say this, it just feels a little bit like media manipulation, almost as if they are trying to compensate for the the loss of life that occurred by allowing that match to take place.
