ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Ah, loved watching that melt Aldo get first played offside and then, when played through, demonstrate an absolute clubfoot of a touch to push the ball back to Arsenal's 'keeper harmlessly in the last 4 mins.

Swiftly followed by a superb Arsenal winner. Loved that initial ricochet that let Thomas through, have that, the luck ain't with ya now. Cue utterly lovely lovely shock hitting players, Dalglish and the fans.

Even then the commentators were sooo up for that lot winning it. Top quality outcome.

Remember listening to him talking about the '89' documentary on radio and he said he really wished he'd have stopped Lukic throwing it out in the last minute. No mention at all of his inability to trap a football. The rollie smoking, pigeon fighting, bullying, hair ruffling gobshoite of a man.

I've never heard of that person...

She was only 22 from what I've read, but hadn't wrestled much in the US. It was being on the Netflix show that caused the issues that led to her tragic passing. Apparently a castmate had unintentionally put a wrestling outfit of hers that had a personal meaning into a dryer and it had shrunk which sparked an argument where the castmate refused to apologise and had his hat slapped off his head by her and she was getting a lot of death threats and hate for it by the type of fangirls that stalk the K-Pop bands

Of course there are dodgy deals.

When Martina followed Koeman to Goodison. He was never, ever good enough to make a match day squad.

When he did play, he proved that too.
Loads of similar echoes at other clubs of cosy manager/player/agent set ups.
The strangest one was when that Faubert or whatever his name was who couldn't even get into the West Ham team was signed by Real Madrid, he himself thought it was a joke.

When they signed Michael Thomas from Arsenal straight after that goal, it was obvious even then that they were desperately trying to make it all about them, in the hope and belief that he would score many many more decisive goals for them and they could defuse the effect of the Arsenal defeat. No way was it coincidence that they happened to be going in for him anyway. It was to try to make him the 'new Rushie' or something, so he would always be thought of as a 'Kop Legend' instead.

Sorry lads, tell me how that worked out for you again? No really, I have time. I can wait.

Just had a twitter spat with some rs, although I really should have known better.
One of their customers was trying to make a political thread all about them with some crap analogy about one of their wins.
I politely pointed out that 'everything isn't about Liverpool FC', to which he replied with the most precise details of some of their victories over us; whilst also claiming we are obsessed with them.
I agreed to cut him some slack, due to their title stress and with the 35th anniversary coming up.
He and his sycophantic followers replied with more precise details of their victories over us, whilst advising me to 'get a sense of humour.
Kopites telling me to get a sense of humour! Now that really IS funny.

I see Bayern haven’t taken up the option to buy Coutinho. So Barca didn’t want him, Bayern didn’t want him, Inter didn’t want him before Liverpool bought him, but for a season under Klopp he turned into one of the best players in the world showing a level of form he’s not been capable of previously or since. Strange how so many players can push massively beyond their peak for Klopp but then go nowhere near it elsewhere. I mean the careers of most of his Dortmund team have been amazing since he left.... oh no wait they haven’t.
