Don't understand this.

From a business point of view it makes sense. Pay out of your own pocket or the government pays 80% and you cover the remaining 20%.

Pensioners have more money then any other age group, I know people with 5 or 6 houses on rent, yet they still receive winter fuel allowance and state pension when a lot of them don't need it and why not it's free money. No one goes to them why do you take state money

If Liverpool council offered 50m to moshiri for free towards the stadium, I'd take it, it's not your money.

Im actually surprised every team in the prem didn't furlough staff.
Because it is morally wrong. If you can afford to pay your staff then pay them. This scheme was not designed for wealthy corporations like Virgin, Wetherspoons, LFC to take advantage of. Any club who furloughed its staff should be banned from transfers because if you can't afford wages how can you afford transfer fees?

And pensioners do not have more money than anybody else.

The latest offering from BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52517532 It says, play at neutral venues but don't relegate anybody. In other words play until somebody wins it. Hmmm I wonder who that might be?

Gary Neville is talking the most sense about this. He keeps asking for somebody to put their names to these ideas that keep being foated. Which medical officer/CEO/owner/Chairman thinks it is safe to restart, whose ideas are they? Nobody is coming forward because they are terrified in case somebody catches it and dies while they are finishing the season - opening the door to all sorts of legal actions.

I'm not because I believe that some people have a sense of doing what's right.

I did think Neville’s idea of moving the prem to another country bloody stupid ifvim honest. Why take our problem elsewhere and make it (potentially) someone else’s problem ?
