If they get their 'asterisk title' it will be an albatross around their unwashed necks.
It will mean nothing and be a source of never ending banter. It will also highlight (like we didn't know already) who's colours the football authorities pin to their collective masts.

In all seriousness, how many police should be on standby outside Anfield if they did play behind closed doors?

The City would get absolutely slated if no police were allocated and a few thousand pi$$ stained, full kit wearing clones of Aldo decided to congregate.

Emergency services should either be dealing with the current emergency or resting as I imagine they are overworked right now.
