ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

as long as the ref doesn't mollycoddle them and give a free kick for every nudge they get
I'm wondering whether the new stadium, especially when full and roaring, will be a place where ref's are quite so ready to side against us versus the sky six teams... Whether there could be something in the size, grandeur and sheer volume of the place that may get into the subconscious of previously compliant refs.

Would a Clattenburg or Poll derby be as likely to unfold in the new gaff? Guess we'll find out.

What i find mad, and highlighted by @DanEFC92 post is that when they were winning the title, they weren't disinterested... but now theyre finding their footing post Klopp they are "disinterested", "disillusioned", "Falling out of Love with" football.

You're in the inner circle lads. Our idea of a great season is making Europe, which is deemed by you as a negative.

It takes a lot to be that fickle, so fair play.

I seem to remember a story about Ian Rush upon his return from Juventus. He was sat in some Liverpool pub/hotel, dressed in a suit. Nobody had given him a second glance as everyone else had gathered around a man at the bar, chatting to him and listening to his stories. Apparently he was dressed in jeans, trainers and had a supermarket shopping bag at his feet - he was just one of the lads. The man? He was the late great Terry Darracott. My point? Neither Terry Darracott or Ian Rush would be seen dead dressed like these idiots. How times have changed. I really despair!
