There is a Liverpool supporting MP on Talksport now. Defending them, then saying that lower league clubs might be dissuaded from entering their staff into the scheme, "because of the backlash against Liverpool".

Let's crunch some numbers to get an idea of just how disgusting LFC are......


Lets say they've furloughed 100 non-playing staff (its probably double that if not more but lets run with that). Now lets say that each staff member is paid the salary of £27,000.

Its widely expected at this stage that the furlough will last for around three mouths.

So
£27,000 dividend by 12 is £2250 × 3 = £6750
£6750 per staff member less 20% is £5400
£5400 × 100 = £540,000.

So in other words, they're taking from the taxpayer to cover the costs of wages that doesn't even amount to Salahs monthly salary.

Absolutely vile, scum of the earth club.
