ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Seems quite a bad, don’t really wish that on any pro (although I’ll expectations for some).

Alexander Isak injury: Liverpool striker feared to have suffered significant damage to lower leg, Sky Sports News understands

If there’s a silver lining at least they won’t miss his contribution.
I'm no great believer in karma, but after the performance in the summer I doubt too many beyond Anfield will shed too many tears.

Sorry for the player (as I don't like to see any player get a bad injury) but not sorry for the club.
No sympathy for a player on over a hundred thousand a week who refuses to play when they get injured. He's on about £300k a week now by the way so I think there are billions of other people in the world who are probably in need of a bit of sympathy ahead of this fella.

I would have sympathy for pretty much any of their other players but he behaved appallingly to force his move.

Nope, no sympathy for Isak at all. A lot of players I dislike simply because they play for that shower, but he seems a particularly entitled and dislikeable individual in his own right. If I said I was in any way sorry about him getting an injury I'd be hypocritical. If he was never going to walk again or something that would be different, but he's out of action on full pay for a spell, that's all. I know what it's like to live with someone increasingly disabled, in long term pain and reduced to benefits, and this isn't that by a long, long way. Maybe it'll give him time to take stock a bit, who knows. Probably not, it didn't seem to do anything to improve St Virgil's character... Just being honest...
