ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I wouldn’t even mind if they sold Slaah and spent the money on Semenyo. He’s good but he’s not world class level. They’ve all got very used to wide players hitting 20 goals a season with Mane Diaz and Salah being ever present every game.

Could well be a world soon where their wide options are Gakpo and Wirtz. Neither of them are getting anywhere near 20 in a prem season.

Just watched the Spitty soliloquy from MNF last night

Absolutely magnificent cinema

"He's thrown the Liverpool right back under the bus for the last 8 years". Let the revisionism commence

I've always said, tongue in cheek mind, that he was a leaden booted fraud: a physical specimen with a poor technique who has inflated his stats with penalties and goals late in games when the result is done. I really really hope that this catches on now

I love the way, during his sermon on Sky, that Carragher hesitates, likes he’s in deep thought and about to enhance our lives with some profound pearls of wisdom.
Only to continue with an Errr and make a show of himself.
This is a guy who spat and hit a child and didn’t have the decency to resign.
Deep thought and Carragher dont really go hand in hand. I think he was so gone that he got lost between emotion and reading paperwork that he paused like there was a full stop in his sentence.

So that would be trent, who wanted to leave, for some mysterious reason, vilified by carragher for his lack of defensive quality on more than one occasion.

Let's see if thry put 2 and 2 together
