I so agree with you. I've said this for years.Ollie Watkins turned him inside out when Villa beat them 7-2 was it?
Half fit DCL dominated him in one of the derbies, to the poit "Virg" wouldnt go near him.
Beto ran him ragged in 2 of the recent derbies too.
Im sorry, but no world class CB would have these on their CV. The biggest myth in football is VVD.
Also, if Konate comes across it leaves another attacker wide open for the ball to be squared to once Mbuemo receives it. Konate does the right thing and stays with his man just in case a ball comes across.Like with the 2nd goal, van Djk is expecting Konate to pick up two or more attackers by himself if that's the case. He sees Mbuemo and lets him go!

The fella had a season or two where he looked top quality but as usual with them it’s not enough he has to be the ‘greatest ever ‘ so they go on and on about it and then they don’t back down they double down .Can't quite believe the analysis from Carragher for the first goal. He's putting it on Konate and showed a graphic of distance from where the goal is scored, highlighting Konate is closer than Van Dijk to it (27 yards to 30 yards). Mbuemo is 31... a full yard behind Van Dijk, but in his view Konate should predict the future and cover for his captain accordingly.
All he's done since leaving them is talk about them. Massively disrespectful to Slot
not really, Slot came into a side that Klopp had built over 10 years, and a brand new midfield that won the league, all he had to do was strengthened in 2 places, an aging Salah and a Konate replacement, they curiously booted 'robbo' out for a weird lad from bournemouth who cant tackle and only has one leg. Bought two strikers and neither of them can play with salah, and Wirtz is being asked to chase the ball back from areas he isn't familiar with. All he's done since leaving them is talk about them. Massively disrespectful to Slot
Just what slot needs , can’t imagine these two sharing an erdinger any time soon with the timing and content of these interviews
The bit about their players always having to be the greatest ever is spot on.The fella had a season or two where he looked top quality but as usual with them it’s not enough he has to be the ‘greatest ever ‘ so they go on and on about it and then they don’t back down they double down .
It’s in their DNA
The United game summed him up , just like when Beto bullied him
