ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

TalkSport debating for 24 hours whether it's wrong to give someone a second yellow for taking their shirt off when celebrating, despite it happening to people on a regular basis for ages without a word. Suddenly now it's 'outrageous, and a ridiculous rule'. Blanket coverage.

T-shirts incoming. Or a rescinding of the card, I wouldn't be surprised...
I've always thought it was a stupid rule tbf.

However it is one of the few rules which is enforced on a consistent basis.

Have you noticed that almost all news stories on the BBC site about that lot use this part of Anfield to accompany them?:

It looks to be their short-hand, go-to image to present them now.

A sort of 'this is "The Big House" where Liverpool live' statement.

Can’t show the other side. It’s a plastic hole punch. The HMG Anfield prison front entrance is the lesser of two awful facades.

On the BBC website:

"Liverpool have shut down 145,000 ticket accounts over the past two years as part of a crackdown against touting, BBC Sport can reveal.

They also issued a record 1,114 lifetime bans last season - a move that followed the discovery of mass manipulation of software used to buy tickets.

Eleven applied to season ticket holders"

Nothing untoward in Paris though lads. All genuine top Reds there. Horrible victimisation etc... :coffee:

Needs repeating more often: those French riot police prevented another disaster that night.
