On TalkSport the other night, while they did acknowledge Arsenal played well, all the talk was that 'this Madrid side are terrible', 'they're cooked', 'worst Madrid side for years and years' etc. This is despite the small matters of Vinicius, Mbappe, Bellingham and the rest. It's not like it was Grasshoppers Of Zurich for God's sake.

I`m sure that`s how it was, after the RS agreed to 400k a week that even PSG said no way to. The 2 deals for himself and more salad might make dealing with big signings a bit tougher in the future as top footballers will want to be top earners at the club.

And the other players currently there will want significant pay hikes as well. On top of that, they won't be getting anywhere near as much for those two in a couple of seasons as they expect.
